I know a movie star...

1) My body seems to have changed again. In the BVI we went to sleep at 10, and woke up by 6:30-7. Now it is difficult for me to sleep past 8, even though I have been staying up much later than I was used to. Oh well, early to sleep, early to rise, the early bird catches the worm....you get the picture. It's 9 and I'm exhausted.

2) I saw Ryan Adams & The Cardinals last night at Northern Lights. A very interesting and diverse crowd. The band was pretty tight, although at times they seemed to repeat their jams. A very tight cover of Bird Song. The band seemed pretty into it, but at times, Ryan Adams, the lead singer/guitar player, would begin a song, then stop. Either he forgot it, or their was a problem, but whatever the reason, it got old and annoying.

3) I've spent the last 2 days painting one of the barns at my house. Yes, barns was plural, as in I have more than one. Surprisingly, I actually enjoy doing it. I'm not sure what it is, but I get in a rythem, and just zone and before I know it, I have a lot of work done. It's relaxing and rewarding at the same time. The type of job I wouldn't mind for a summer. You're outside, listening to the radio, it's not a bad deal.

4) As I've been painting and listening to the radio, I've heard a ton for promotions and give-aways. What a freaking smart idea. Give away some tickets to a concert or theme park every hour, and have people just listen and wait for the signal. Whoever invented that was a genius.
