1) Things seem to returning to a somewhat more normal state at home. But not completely. I'm not sure what I was expecting, but it isn't this. It is hard for me to put my finger on exactly how I feel right now. Nervous, somewhat. Excited, that too. Bored, yes. Ready for a change, I hope so. You're probably wondering what is bringing on these emotions. Which brings me to #2.
2) For those of you who may not have read, as of now I am moving down to Long Island next week to hopefully look for and find a job in New York City. I'm not sure what will happen. I realized this summer that I am happiest when I push my boundaries and comfort limit. I really do like where I live, and it would be easy for me to stay. But I need to try something new and different.
3) This week I have been working at the Gap. That's right, for one week only. Not the most exciting stuff in the world, but it has to happen. I knew if I was just sitting around here I would get bored.
4) This summer I listened to a lot of good music. One artist I started listening to was named Matt Costa. He has an album called Songs We Sing. It's fantastic. I listened to it on my drive to and from work today. www.mattcosta.com
