Glass table and a five star room and the sun always comes up much too soon

1) Well the job search is going. Not super quick, but with more urgency than my previous one. I know it goes without saying, but I feel more prepared this time around. It has been easier to call people, and get out my resume.

2) I bought the new Arcade Fire cd, "Neon Bible" yesterday. It's a good album. It's pretty big sounding, which I enjoy. I like the idea of them buying an old church outside of Montreal, and recording this album in the church.

3) When I moved down here, I started using Commerce Bank. Up until a few weeks ago, I hadn't had any problems. But then they said that I bounced a check. Well funny thing is, the check wasn't mine. So now, I've been on the phone with them for the last two weeks trying to get this matter cleared up. Which would be easy, when the bank says that the problem was theirs. But they seem to be making it more difficult than it should be.

4) I have talked with a number of people recently about Anna Nicole Smith's death, and how the media has gone completely overboard on the amount of coverage that it has received. I would expect it to make programs such as Exrra, and Entertainment Tonight, but the nightly news on the broadcast stations? Its a shame that she died in an untimely manner, with such controversy surrounding her death, but the amount of coverage is obsurd.

5) Today when I shaved, I left my mustache for a minute. Someday I will keep it for a few days.

6) On my way home today, I put in "Rockets" by Conehead Buddha. Conehead Buddha is a now defunct band that was based out of the Capital Region. I remember discovering them in high school, and saw some terrific shows that they put on. The best way for me to describe their sound was rock, infused with ska, jazz, calyspo, roots, and alittle hip-hop. Something about them just always seemed to strike a chord with me. Maybe it's Chris Fisher's whiny voice mixed in with the horns and percussion. But they played some great shows. I know they've played some one off gigs, but it's not the same as it was. But nothing ever really is.

7) I think it's about time to start making my own bread again.

Mustache? I think that'd probably look pretty ridiculous.

You need the full BPitt Winter Beard to pull off the facial hair look, my friend.
