Man these shrimp taste good!

1) I worked a day shift at the GAP today, which I don't do very often. Retail is different on Weekdays during the day. I never realized it because I was always with the crowds on nights and weekends.

2) I'm listening to "Youth" by Matisyahu right now. It's pretty good so far.

3) I'm writing on my computer, and it is much easier for me to write on this laptop rather than the desktop in my house. Probably because I wrote on this for 4 years in college. After seeing the most recent edition of the completed Howler, I realized how much my writing improved in college.

I have also realized how much I was able to accomplish academically in my 4 years at Geneseo. I presented my poster dealing with the identity formation of the South-Asian community in Great Britain at 2 conferences, and won awards at both. But besides that, this was the closest thing to a thesis for me, and it feels good to look back, and see that all my hard work paid off. It was a nice capstone on 4 years, pulling it all together. Looking back, it gives me motivation to pursue my education more at some point.

4) I am pissed off at Crocs right now. Yes, those shoes that look funny and are rubbery and lightweight. My foot has been a consistent mens US 12 for the last 9 years. Crocs are not sized numerically, but by Small, Medium, Large, etc. (I'm not sure what this method is called). So I tried on an XL(10-11). Too small. What I expected. I followed up with XXL (12-13). Just too big. Not what I expected. Why can't you just make regular sizes in the model I liked? In the other models the sizes aren't paired together. Frustrating.

5) It was around now 2 years ago that I was in Cancun on spring break. Yes, I went to Cancun, and it was fantastic. I would highly recommend anyone (whether in college or not) to at least try one spring break trip. What was especially nice about our hotel was that it wasn't a targeted "spring break" hotel. There were spring breakers, but it wasn't pure craziness like the other places. A good time had by all.
