1) After a relaxing and enjoyable weekend at home with Sandra, it is back to reality today. Life is moving both fast and slow for me right now. Fast in the sense that I can't believe that it is almost June, and I'm still without permanent work. Well, in all seriousness/fairness, I did have a rockin' job, but people don't communicate things like they should sometimes.

And slow, because days seem to drag on, especially in the afternoon. In the mornings I can usually occupy my time well, but between 2-4 pm, I get bored and antsy. Last week I did some temping at a non-profit. Although the work was extremely tedious, the people were some of the coolest that I have ever worked with.

2) I recently started doing the crossword puzzle in the back of New York Magazine each week. I don't come close to finishing them, but it's still fun and mentally stimulating.

3) This weekend I bought Guster's Satellite EP. Some good tracks, especially the new ones. I can see how some of the songs wouldn't fit on "Ganging Up on the Sun", but they are still great songs. I think that these songs, especially the alt-countryish Rise & Shine show the progression of the band. The "Total Eclipse of the Heart" cover is utterly awful, and hilarious.
