"I'd like to play it heavy," he said, "but with a lot of light and shade."

1) For most people the week between Christmas and New Years is relaxing and enjoyable, for me it was extremely busy. I guess that's retail. As for Christmas, I had a nice one.

2) One of the gifts I got was the 2nd half of the 3rd season of Entourage. It was good. Not great, just good. I remember hearing a lot of people didn't like it, and it had been criticized. I think it was less about plot development. and more about character development. And Ari is one funny dude.

3) Last night I received a Facebook message from someone who I hadn't talked with in a while that I used to work with. This was the job I left earlier this year, and this person ended up leaving the company as well a few months later. It is interesting that we both seemed to have the same view and feelings towards the company.

4) At our apartment we have off street parking in the back of the building. The street to get to the parking is one-way. At the top of the street a few weeks ago the city started doing construction. They left a huge patch of pavement that has sunk down and created a dip that is noticeable and annoying. I now feel like every time I go over it, my car may sink in and the pavement collapse. I've been debating going up the wrong way on the one way street, but to avoid this patch. I'm just saying.

5) I'm still searching for a karaoke song. It's hard for me to find one, because I tend to be shy singing in front of groups. And some karaoke groups tend to be more intimidating than others.

6) One night this week I had to dog sit at my parents house in the country. That was something else. For a long time, that felt like my home, but it doesn't anymore. It seems big and cumbersome. I like my apartment where it is smaller and things are close by.

7) I feel like I should try and offer some recap of 2007. It was a good year in some accounts, a bad year in others. Overall a lot changed for me this year, for the best.
