1) It has been a very busy few weeks. After getting a planner about a month ago, I'm not sure how I survived without one. It has helped keep me very organized, as the semester, and my Master's experience comes to an end. For example, today I have three appointments/meetings in the course of 2.5 hours, and then the MBA dinner dance at 7.
2) This week I went to a group meeting at someones house. The house happened to be in the suburbs. Made me realize that I hadn't been to the suburbs in quite some time. After growing up there, I always imagined that it is where I'd eventually end up. But right now in my life, it seems strange, because I don't think I could see myself there for a while.
3) I got my taxes back from the Fed. government. This is the first year I did it through direct deposit. And it came in under a month. So quick and easy. I have a professor who absolutely hates the government. In class, he not only tells us verbally, but it is written all over his Power Point slides. I'm not saying that he isn't entitled to his view. But it's beginning to upset some classmates, and make the learning process less successful.
4) I got my tickets for SPAC through the Phish lotto. Even though they are on the lawn, it will be a great way to end the summer.
I noticed that I almost always see Phish at the beginning or end of their tours. This summer will be no different, seeing their first two shows, and their last show. I was real happy to see that they added a number of dates last week, making their tour longer, and allowing themselves some real room to stretch out and explore.
