As some of you know, I completed my MBA this past May. Unfortunately, a job didn't happen just as I thought it might. The market isn't great, and perhaps I was too picky in what I was looking for. Life has gotten frustrating. I seem to have forgotten how much I need structure in my life. Long story short, last week I accepted a job with a company that is based out of Milwaukee, WI. I wanted to try my best to stay local, but said that I would leave for a good opportunity.

This new position will begin in September in Wisconsin, and may take me to a number of locations around the country in the future. This makes my situation/relationship with Sandy very frustrating. We've lived together for two years. Being apart is going to be hard. There is no sugarcoating the situation.

It's funny that Sandy moved here from the Mid-West, and now I am moving to the Mid-West. She will be staying here to get her Masters. I will be closer to her family, and she will be closer to mine. I am excited to start a new job, and we are willing to challenge ourselves for our future.
