1) We just had some Capital Q for dinner. Sandy has been talking about getting some BBQ for a while. This place does not disappoint. I had some awesome brisket. I didn't really know what brisket was, and I just so happen to be being served by the owner. He said it was the ugliest piece of meat you'll see, which is why it is cooked for fourteen hours.

2) I've been living in an apartment that has carpeting. I haven't had carpeting in a living space for a few years. It's cozier than I remember.

3) Lost begins on Tuesday. I'm pretty excited for this last season. There is so much that happened in the first five seasons, I know I won't remember everything. I've also decided to try and chill out with reading the reviews and blogs. I want to relax and take it all in. Sandy has already watched the first six minutes of the first episode. She's a little upset that I don't want to know what happens before the episodes air.

Also on the note of TV, I haven't been watching it all lately. I put it on every now and then, and in twenty minutes I get antsy. I think it's the commercials.

4) I bought the new Vampire Weekend album, "Contra" a few weeks ago. I think it's a pretty good album. It's slightly more mellow than the first. There are more hints of electronic in the music. But overall, if you liked their first album, you will like this one.
