Hipsters need a home too

1) Last weekend we had a very nice visit with Sandy's parents. It's always good when they come to town. One of the fun things we did was go to a rocking concert put on by the Sacandaga String Band. This is a bluegrass-ish band that includes members from Camp Fowler. What a great show they put on. They mixed originals with a healthy variety of covers. Their vocals were spot on. Also, the timing of their songs was real nice. Nothing felt too drawn out, yet they let ideas mature in the songs. I would love to get a recording of it to listen to on my drives up and down the Northway.

After the show was over, I got to talk with my good friend Heath. Even though we haven't talked in a while, I feel like whenever we get together, we have great conversations.

2) I found out recently that my next rotation is going to be in West Virginia. Wow. This will be interesting. That being said, I am going to be in the most Eastern part, only about an hour from DC/Baltimore.

3) This past week, a co-worker of mine sent me the link to her blog by accident. Not to get into all the details, but she wrote some derogatory stuff about me. I know I can be sensitive, but it hurt my feelings.

The reason this co-worker didn't want me (or anyone at work) to see the blog was because she posts anonymously. Regardless, it's pretty stupid to write about work, even if you don't mention the company's name.

A few months ago my mom said to me that when I was in high school, she wanted to write an anonymous letter to a school official because she thought one of my coaches was smoking pot before our competitions. But she said that would just be a cowardly thing to do (writing in anonymously). I would have to say writing an anonymous blog would fall into the same category.

YES! The SSB got the patented B-Ri live show breakdown. I've always wanted one.

(I hope I didn't put you under too much pressure to write it up! ;-) )

Did you throw a beer at your coworker and call her a word that rhymes with "twitch"? If you're going to get upset, you need to do it in true BPitt style.
