1) I'm finally starting to feel like I'm getting settled into my life here in Wisconsin. Pulling away from the airport yesterday, I was sad that Sandy was leaving. We had a great week together. But I was also looking forward to getting back into my routine that I've been trying to establish for myself.

2) We spent Thanksgiving in Michigan this year. We're trying to trade off families and holidays, and this was our year in the Mitten. One of the highlights was running the Turkey Trot there. It was Sandy's first 5K, and she did a great job. I was (and still am) proud of her.

We had a nice Thanksgiving afternoon visiting with Sandy's family, eating, talking, watching strange movies, etc. Thanksgiving night we saw Harry Potter and the Deathly Hollows Pt.I. By far and away one of the top Harry Potter movies. I read the book so quickly three years ago, that see the movies, I literally had forgotten most of what was going to happen. On Friday, we braved the crowds, did some shopping, and saw a Grand Rapids Griffins game. A lot of fights.

3) After the game, we cannonballed it back to Milwaukee. Our friends in Madison, Maria and Cameron have season tickets to Wisconsin Badgers. The had extra tickets to the game and invited us. It was a cold day, but we had a ton of fun. Wisconsin won, and became the Big 10 champs. Here are some pictures:
