1) I haven't subbed the past two days, and to be honest, I'm beginning to get bored. I've decided that I'm a morning person, and don't mind waking up early the mornings I need to sub. But when I don't have anything to get up for, I wake up late and feel like I've wasted half my day.
2) It's nice to see the Blue Wave is dying hair right now. I remember my first time doing it 4 years ago, going up to Batavia to the Beauty School. A few alumni showed up, not for the support purpose (because most of us were pretty excited to have it happen), but to show that they too had experienced it.
3) I finished reading Swimming to Antarctica, which was great. It makes me miss swimming, but has also introduced me to the world of open-water swimming. Although I don't plan on swimming across the English Channel any time soon, I have a feeling I might enjoy swimming in the open water. Even the 1650 felt like a sprint for me at times, and I would be interested to see how good I could do in a longer swim.
4) I don't mean to harp on the weather, but if its going to be winter, then be winter.
5) I went to the Synod today and worked on the Howler. It's coming along nicely, also things for the campaign seem to be really snowballing. Exciting things are happening.
