Epic

1) I started The DaVinci Code yesterday. It will most likely be done tomorrow. I feel like the last person to read it. I realized though what drew me in. It was having a murder start off the story. A trick that I feel like helps draw in a reader to the story.

2) We also had Oreo's appear in our house yesterday. I dunked some in milk last night and ate. They are delicious.

3) The Olympics are over. In agreement with P.A.T., I really only watched about 2 hours of the Olympics total. And curling was a good 45 minutes. I'm really just not too interested in most of these sports. Something else I was thinking about after watching part of the hailed "most anticipated event of the games": women's figure skating. Out of the top 5 finishers, at least 3 fell during a major part of their skate. Now here's my question: If there is such a high probability that you are going to fall, why do the jump? I mean, when divers (I'm picking diving because it is a sport I'm relatively familiar with, and it is graded as opposed to best time wins, or most goals) go and throw dives, especially at that level, they are sure that they will nail the dive. You rarely see an Olympic diver smack (f-up a dive). I could be completely wrong, but doesn't it make sense to practice more, or not throw them, or something?

And if women's figure skating is the most anticipated event of the winter games, what is it for the summer games? A few come to mind: the 100 meter dash and the 4X100 meter freestyle relays.

4) RW began tonight. I wasn't going to watch, but got sucked in.
