Lets Go Blue Wave!

1) Post #100. A fitting one for the date I think.

2) Leaving tomorrow for SUNYACs. I am both excited and nervous. I feel like a Freshman again. I have had memories from swimming/college flying through my head for the past few weeks in anticipation for this meet. It's crazy to think that right now, for the past 4 years I've been shaving down, our team having our nightly meeting. Each meet holds a specific memory and feeling. Tomorrow begins a new chapter.

I also can't stress enough how important the Blue Wave is in my life. So much of who I am stems from the long practices, meets, friendships, etc., that happened while swimming on the team. As I was recently reminded of saying at one point at the end of my Freshman year, if it hadn't been for the Blue Wave, I probably wouldn't have stayed at Geneseo.

3) Sometimes, as I have said before, change is good. I'm beginning to realize that without change in my life, on a somewhat regular basis, I tend to get too comfortable. With change, I stay on my toes, and perform better.

#4) 2002-where I seemed to have finally stepped up to the plate, hit my first real taper, and experienced the BW.

#5) 2003-where I finally felt like I was swimming fast, and was recognized.

#6) 2004-the wildest, most exciting meet I ever swam in.

#7) 2005-bittersweet, a lifetime of pride begins.

#8) 2006-we shall see.
