Hot Hot Heat

1) Things are going in my life right now. Nothing really new. I've temped at a place for the last two and a half weeks, and it was a decent experience. I thought I knew a lot about Excel, but I worked with someone that completely put me to shame.

2) I knew I would miss the outdoors this summer, but something I didn't think about as much was how much I'd miss the interaction with people. I've noticed with these entry-level jobs is they mostly lack the person to person interaction.

3) I realized recently that I never watch MTV anymore. I used to consider it one of my default channels. But as of late, I haven't been watching as much tele, and when I do put MTV on it seems boring to me.

4) Jamba Juice is delicious.

MTV's gone stale. Too often their successful shows are just episodes that have been recycled ad nauseum (see: Real Word/Road Rules Challenge, Punk'd, any of their ridiculous dating game shows). Plus their so-called "reality" dating shows seem painfully and awkwardly scripted.

Also, something I realized recently is that MTV really overglorifies high school. As much fun as winning a state championship may be, or being elected student body president, it's meaningless the moment you receive your diploma, and if you're still clinging to those moments after you've graduated from college you've got issues. Grow up, move on.
