1) My Monday's don't feel like normal Monday's. I have no classes. I work from 6-10:30. It's not a bad situation, but I feel like I'm slacking not at a more formalized location for most of Monday. I am able to get a lot of work done.

2) A co-worker of mine asked me on Saturday if I was going out for Halloween that night. It hadn't even occurred to me that it was the weekend people would be celebrating Halloween. I guess it is awkward when it falls on a Wednesday. However, I've never been a huge fan of Halloween.

3) When I was younger, I used to wear hats (baseball) as much as possible. At any opportunity, I would have one on. Then for some reason, in high school, I stopped wearing them. We were allowed to wear them in class, however I chose not to. I really never think about wearing them, but on Saturday when I was going out for a run, it was pouring rain. I wanted to wear a baseball cap to keep the rain out of my eyes.

I realized I hadn't worn one for probably about ten years, and the only hat I had was on my chair at my parents house in Troy. Sometimes even when I haven't used something for a long time, it is frustrating when it is not there at the exact moment that I want it.

I've grown used to not having my father in my life, it's not easier, but it's the way it is. Every now and then, when I do need him, I still get upset that he can't be here.

4) Sweet potato fries = deliciousness.
