1) First week of classes done. Even though I know they won't be totally, they definitely seem more laid back than last year. Not to say last year was complete intense domination, but this seems good right now.

2) A interesting article in my New York Mag. this week: http://nymag.com/realestate/features/49491/

A lot of my thoughts on feelings towards NYC are in it.

3) Last Saturday we helped build a house w/ Habitat for Humanity. I'm finally trying to put my money where my mouth is, as I have been saying for a while how I want to try and volunteer more. Overall a good experience. We helped to put up a roof, and besides the adults not doing much of anything, it was a good group to be working with. And on top of that, I like learning about the actual building of a home.

4) I'm still undecided on whether on three day weekends I like having Friday's or Monday's off. My thinking is that with a Friday off, it's like a start to your weekend a day early. But with a Monday off, it's a shorter week coming up, so you have that to look forward to on your weekend. Food for thought my friends.
