Today was the RIT Conference for Undergrad Communication Research. It went off pretty well. I recieved an award for my poster. All in all a very good experience. The SUNY Geneseo students seemed to be pretty well respected. Out of the 5 awards given, 3 were to Geneseo students. I also learned about some interesting options for grad school. It's good to have them available to me.
My marketing group found out we didn't make it to the next round. No hard feelings, but I want to see what we did wrong. Maybe not having one business major in our group hurt us.
What else is new.....nothing. I'm just exhausted from being up since 6:30 and presenting at the conference all day.
Does box wine go bad? I've had some in my room for a while, and pour a glass every now and then. Anyone have any idea? And when does a Blue Moon occur? I mean, it's my favorite beer, but does it ever really happen?
Nothing too exciting, which is ok for right now. My life is slightly slowing down after the whirlwind that has been the last month.

according to the more recent definition, a blue moon is "the second full moon in a calendar month. For a blue moon to occur, the first of the full moons must appear at or near the beginning of the month so that the second will fall within the same month. the average span between two moons is 29.5 days."
i guess the term really started in some proverb saying that the moon being blue was equivalent to saying the moon was made of cream cheese, an obvious absurdity.
that would be cool though, huh? i like cream cheese. and beer. but probably not together.
hope this helps pittelli. i'll see ya-hopefully not once in a blue moon.
