1) I live in the country. It is fine. I don't love it, but I deal with it. There are some nice roads to go running on. Today, as with most days recently, while running past houses sometimes, dogs will come out of nowhere and completely take me by surprise. I'm usually in a zoned out state of mind, that's why it startles me so much. And I feel like these aren't your typical suburban golden retrievers. No, these are country dogs that run around on their property like it's their job.
So when they usually come barking at me, I slow down, and talk with them. It calms them down, and I go on my way. But I feel like this is the type of situation that when it goes bad they end up making a Dateline episode out of it.
2) A week off from school. But not from the Gap. And some painting thrown in for fun.
3) It seems like Guster put on a very good show in Geneseo. Why couldn't the concert planning committee plan a better date? Oh well, Friday night was good, but to know any other weekend this spring and I would have seen them at Geneseo is frustrating too.
4) We had carrot cake today. It was great.
