This is all a dream we dreamed one afternoon long ago

1) I haven't read any books lately, mostly just magazines. I recently subscribed to Rolling Stone, which is not bad.

2) The Gap has been pure craziness recently. I feel like we haven't had a regular day in a while. And by regular I mean just a day where we don't have a million things going on.

3) We bought our Eurail passes last week. And I discoverd, yet again, that it really is a small world.

4) The Yankees opened up another season last week. Although, my enjoyment of baseball (as with much of professional sports) has waned in the past few years. I have no problems rooting for the Yankees, and fully recognize that they are the highest paid team in baseball. But that is the capitalist environment that we live in.

5) With the "discovery" of the Gospel of Judas, I have been doing some thinking. Not only about the content, which is interesting, but about how many documents/texts are still lost. Or are even not lost, but not public knowledge. That's what I was thinking about today.

6) I listened to American Beauty. It's like the hippie says in "Freaks and Geeks", "I wish I could have never heard that album, just to listen to it for the first time again."
