1) The light misty rain getting off the train tonight felt very refreshing. There's something about these long days that are pushing my comfort zone. But that's OK right now. It's like my old swim coach once said, "You must get comfortable with being uncomfortable."
2) I bought Trey's "Bar 17" last week. It's good. Not great. A few songs stand out as being real solid. With other songs, there is too much going on. With his 10-piece, there was a lot going on, but those songs were written for that band, he seemed to have a tighter grip on it. I think these songs would sound better stripped down a little bit more. But that's me.
