1) The older I get, the more I find my life repeats itself. Today, I hit my head on a cabinet, and cut it. Similar to four (there is the number four again) years ago when I hit my head on the water polo goal post and cut it. Not exactly the same, but similar.
2) For cheap and good beer in the city, try Penn Station.
3) It is great wearing jeans to work. I'm not used to it, but so far, I like it.
4) I've heard two people in the last week call Westchester upstate. This is funny to me, because Westchester isn't even close to being upstate. To me, upstate begins north of Poughkeepsie/New Paltz area. But that will be an ongoing discussion between people from all over New York.
5) I find my mind constantly drifting back to camp. I'm not exactly sure why this is, but possibly because now I know I won't be going back as staff next summer. It could also be because as I make my commute in, and am surrounded by people, I miss walking the minute down the road to morning watch. Either way, it is still great, and one of my favorite places ever.
