1) Target probably has the best commercials on the tele that I've seen in years. For some reason, there is always something clean, unique, fun, and catchy about their 30-second spots. I know within the first ten seconds that it is a Target commercial, even if the retailer hasn't been mentioned. They've definitely tapped into something.
2) Work is going well. Every day I am still learning new stuff. My body is adjusting to the longer days, although I'm not sure if I'll ever get used to the commute.
3) On Sunday night, my friend Jeff played bass with a guy named Ian Love. They opened for a band called Texas is the Reason, who were playing their first shows in ten years. I thought Ian was much better than Texas. A cool thing about this show that not only did I get in on the guest list, but I also got a VIP sticker, and access to a special viewing area at Irving Plaza. Overall a great night.
4) I think I need to start reading books again. It is real easy to get caught up reading magazines for work and my own life everyday, but they lack the substance that books do. Eventually I'll make it to the library.
