The homecoming weekend/alumni meet in Geneseo was great. It felt good and alittle scary to drive into town, as if nothing had changed. Except for the giant Super Wal-Mart. Probably the biggest Wal-Mart I have ever seen. I didn't even go inside.
Michigan was great. It was nice seeing and experienceing so many new things. Some of my favorite things were going to the wineries in northen MI, where I proceeded to spend $200+ on a variety of local wine. My favorite being the cherry variety.
Another awesome thing was going to the Gerald Ford Presidential Museum in Grand Rapids. I didn't really know a lot about him, but it was really cool to see literally everything from his life. We also went to the Meijer Gardens, where I saw some really cool sculptures that I don't really know much about.
The drives weren't too bad. Overall about 1, 900 miles. Last night I saw SCI with Pro in Ithaca. A great show. During what I'm guessing was the set closer 'Round the Wheel, the power on stage went out. This is the usual signal for the venue to say to the band, you've went over curfew. But it was only 11:10. The fans started booing. The band then told us that we needed to exit the building. We knew we weren't coming back in. The members of the band proceeded to come outside, and play some acoustic music for the fans. Incredible. A great amount of energy.
Home now. Alittle sick. Alittle tired. Very Happy.
