Let's blow this popsicle

1) This weekend I got to see the BW swim at ECAC's. They did a fantastic job. Some very impressive times coming out of the team for this point in the season. Good things to come I'm sure.

2) Besides that, not too much else going on. Work is busy, busy, busy. I told my boss that I am still somewhat star-struck when I am addressing letters to editors, talking to them on the phone, etc. She replied to me that she still is too, and hopes that she always is.

3) I went running again today. I'm still running in shorts and a long sleeved shirt. After camp this past summer, I realized that I try not to let the weather affect me as much.

4) Last Thursday I saw The Slip and My Morning Jacket play at the Roseland Ballroom. A great concert. The Slip just released a new album called Eisenhower, which really pushes their musical boundaries. More indie-rock, more concise songs, and a fresh sound that still sounds very original.

My Morning Jacket quite simply rocked the shit out of The Roseland Ballroom. Drawing heavily from their recent studio album, Z, they put on a terrific show. At times, it was hard to hear Jim James' voice, but sometimes just the sounds added enough texture to make it worthwhile.
