1) My new job is going well. The first two days went by quickly, and I feel like this is the nature of PR. The people I work with are pretty down to earth. So far, so good.
2) Today, I wrapped myself in tinfoil, and walked up to the Chipotle on 8th. There was a promotion where if you dressed like a burrito, you got one free. I was hesitant to make the walk, looking like a bad interpretation of the tin man, but I decided that it's New York, stranger stuff has happened.
But that was about the extent of my Halloween costume. This is the first year in a while that I haven't made any sort of effort to do anything for Halloween. I don't mind. I never really cared for it that much.
3) I've noticed the election is all over the news. I mean, it's probably supposed to be. I was able to get an absentee ballot, which is good, because for a few days there, I didn't think I would be allowed to vote. What is interesting to me is that this year is, yet again, being touted as an extremely critical year.
4) It's strange to think that October is ending. It's not that this month has gone by faster than normal, but I feel like by the end of the month (or now), my move down here seems more permanent. Which I think is a good thing.
