1) For some strange reason, I seem to have accumulated a great deal of matches/lighters over the last few months. Cleaning out my room, I found at least 5 of each which surprised me. I don't smoke, so I have no idea why I have so many.
2) Dinners tend to take a long time in my house now. My parents enjoy talking for a solid 30-45 minutes after we finish. This is a lot for me. I was used to eating with a bunch of kids, or by myself in my room while watching MTV. On a side, I was sent out to buy two bottles of wine this week, one red, one white. Both were accepted with rave reviews, and I simply picked the bottles out because I liked the designs on the labels, and they were under $10.
3) I painted trim on our barns today. I have decided that at some point in my life, I would like to be a painter. Maybe for a month, or summer or somthing like that. I just find it relaxing, listening to the radio, and it's nice to see a tangible finished product after a hard day's work.
4) I had an interview for substitute teaching this morning. Why is this process so damn long? I mean really, I'm a good person, why does this need to take at least another month?
5) If anyone has any suggestions for newsletter's, or if they have worked on them and have tips, please let me know. I'm currently putting one together, and although I have worked on them, I have never created one like I'm doing now. Any feedback would be helpful.
