What an action packed week. I like the feeling at the end of a week that I have done a lot, even if I still have no job. On Tuesday I went down to the city (NYC) and saw Coldplay with Amanda, Jeff, John, Will, Tim, and Andy. What an incredible show. I know their live show has been getting mixed reviews, but in my opinion it was fantastic.
On Wed, Amanda and I hung out in the city for the morning. Walked through Central Park, went to the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA), which was great. SUNY Students get in for free. In the afternoon, we met up with the Aussies, followed by some walking around, looking, and then the Yankee game. It was rather boring until the 7th inning, when the Yankees started using their talent.
Thursday and Friday were spent at Jones Beach. Good times. Then back here on Friday afternoon for alittle surprise going away party action for Annie. It was interesting to be in a social environment outside of camp with my fellow staff members. Still fun nontheless.
Picked up a nice new phone today. I enjoy it. This week it's time to get my life in gear. I need to sign up to substitute teach, as well as plan out my mid-west road trip. That's it for now. And a note on today. For the first time since Sept. 11, today seemed like a "business as usual" Sunday for America. I don't know what to make of this, is it good or bad?
