Up high, Down low, In the middle.....you're too slow

Yesterday I gave some blood, which was cool. But I gave a new type of blood called double red. This is when they only take out red blood cells, and put the rest of your blood back in. A pretty cool time all in all. But I was also exhausted when I ran 4 miles today.

1) Yes back to the "old" format with numbering my thoughts/new sections. It helps me think.

2) I used a ride-on mower today for the first time. I didn't think I would enjoy the experience, but I did. I was surprised at what sharp turns it can make. I don't think anything will beat my Lawn-Boy that I have been using for 10 years, but the ride-on was enjoyable.

3) Magazines seem to interest me more these days than books. I mean, I love books. I just finished A Long Way Down by Nick Hornby (which was a great read. It moved quickly and told from the perspective of 4 different people), but sometimes I just feel like when I pick up a book, it's just too much of a commitment for me to make. With a magazine, the articles are smaller, and there is less of a commitment.

4) In terms of giving blood, go and give it, especially right now with Katrina hitting and a holiday weekend going on. There are typically more accidents and blood is always needed.
